Adrift among the the fish below, moving along ever so slow.
Not a care to the water that floats me along, I wonder if it will miss me when I'm gone.
Am I lost or am I traveling, without a road I have no bearing.
And the stars look down as they have seen it all before, a boat and a passenger and two useless ores.
I sit and I wait, look for a sign, question myself for the hundreth time.
Why must I drift lost in this place, maybe the answers will all come to late.
Lost and confused I make sense of nothing but I hold onto the night and know that day is coming.
If that is all I know at least it is something so I fall in love with the sun that I can count on shining.
